This can facilitate immediate diagnosis of heart attacks so that essential treatment can begin at the scene.  And should it be deemed necessary, a team of physicians and staff can prepare the Cardiac Cath Lab while the patient is in transit, so that no precious time is lost upon arrival to the hospital.
